Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee has cut gasoline prices in the local market by 25 piasters per litre, starting Friday, at 12 am, according to Ahram Online.
The new per-litre prices of 80-octane, 92-octane, and 95-octane gasoline were reduced to EGP 6.5, EGP 7.75, and EGP 8.75, respectively.
The price of industrial-use mazut was decreased by EGP 250 per tonne to reach EGP 4,250.
The price cut resulted from the decline in Brent oil barrel prices to $62 between July and September, the pricing committee said.
